Set up a pet parlour with a collection of soft toys, brushes, combs, ribbons, clip board to check the pets in etc. my 5 year old grandson loves this and is very imaginative with his treatments. Polishing hooves, ribbons in manes, manicure & pedicure, glitter make up - mainly without any resources.

No equivalence certainly, but I’m intrigued by the notion of justified crying.

Beautiful and funny. But why do we teach letter names? They are so useless when learning to read (except vowels) and it would be easy to use letter sounds in all the places we use names.

It’s only a couple of months of Chris Weston’s salary. A whip round of his mates should enable them to pay the fine easily. The defence of ‘Our scam has worked so far but if you discredit us we won’t be able to scam any more’ is pretty rich.

Stratford yesterday was very quiet and many vacant shops. If these tourist hot spots cannot thrive, what hope for less prestigious towns. Even big cities like Birmingham look moribund in many areas.

Such polarisation is what has enabled the success of Farage, Trump, Erdogan etc. Of course there are immigrants who damage our country, just as there are locals who damage our country. Inferring all immigrants or any identifiable group are blameless is the miracle grow of populism.

I’ve been with First Direct since they started. Excellent customer service and no sign of that changing in recent years. Good app and uninspiring saving rates.
