Made of dark chocolate and colourful gummis

Container with purposefully placed dark chocolate shaped like watermelon seeds into a xmas tree shape added on top of it with yellow, red and green gummis as decor. Additional soft pastel lines of pale yellow, soft pink, light baby blue woven into gummis representing lights.

1 year has passed, a #caterpillar decided to hitch a ride from a park and glued itself on my trainers. Setup a rudimentary box to let it complete its lifecycle stage and it emerged beautifully. This year on our lime trees, we found another caterpillar and decided to watch it grow #limeswallowtail
bright green caterpillar inside a rolled up lime leaf with its brown setae (sensory hairs) on its head and 2 fake eyes (eye spots).

Decided to showcase the #caterpillar stage instead. Equally stunning as the adult moth! 🐛
Caterpillar of the Elephant Hawk-Moth eating leaf and has two distinct eyespots on the first and second thorax after the head. It has brown shades on the dorsal surface and almost black on the ventral side with midbody prolegs.

1 of my many favourites, love the eyespots!
Warm grey with brown mixed rust red accented around the edges of the outer margin of forewings and hindwings. The mixture of rustiness and white looked like sprayed edges of an old book that was wet once upon a time. Some reddish rust colour around the thorax. Four lovely eyespots on each forewing, hindwing that resembles the peacock's feathers eyespots . Giant Peacock Moth

It was tough to find the right colour shades and hues.
Light straw yellow dust moth with defined median reddish line from left forewing tip to the right forewing tip. Minute reddish short fur along the inner margin, inner angle of both forewing and hindwing. Blood-veined moth.
