Speaking of insanity, John Reid's FB feed keeps getting nuttier and nuttier. Yesterday he blamed the RTD's decline in readers on the newspaper's increasingly far left editorial policy.

Such a shameful career arc. On of the first Republicans to completely sell their souls and enable the MAGA rise.

Vaguely. I mainly remember it being really cold and finding it really hard to concentrate on exams.

I remember that evening well. The RA in our first year dorm at UVA had been watching the game in his room. He came out, pale as a ghost, and said guys you're not going to believe what I just heard. I will never forget the look on his face.

Bill is increasingly a simp for Trump but never thought he would reach Youngkin level of sycophancy
November 23, 2025 at 12:29 AM
I never understood Miyares focus on Jones' reckless driving speeding charge and subsequent reduction after community service. That's standard in the Commonwealth and I really doubt any independent voters would have been persuaded Jason's ads on this issue
November 19, 2025 at 11:54 PM
Not sure who is more willfully clueless about current Commonwealth voter sentiment. Joe or Tim Anderson.

Remember when Glen was a Republican moderate? Now, even in a "safe" district, he's slurping to MAGA for political survival. Heh.

Alternatively, distract Pete from trying to invade Canada

I only got through the first eight months of your Youngkin retrospective. Such a horrid individual. For example, loathsome how he reversed bipartisan efforts from past Governors to make it almost automatic for felons to regain suffrage upon release.
November 12, 2025 at 1:17 AM
He makes good points but for painting in way too broad strokes in #3. I would
also add--and this may have been what he was getting at in first one--that Dems definitely gained by waiting until Sunday. Cynical move but tied shutdown to Trump/GOP and obviously helped electorally Tuesday.
November 11, 2025 at 3:56 PM
Reminded he needed another fix
November 6, 2025 at 11:54 PM
I think a loser should be whomever decided Sears should run for Governor. Did Miyares not want to do it or was Spanberger considered so strong a candidate that Sears was just thrown out there as a sacrificial lamb?
November 5, 2025 at 5:59 PM
That was great. Feel like I now finally understand the NYC mayoral race; especially why Sliwa is running. The Cuomo hate is strong.
November 4, 2025 at 7:05 PM
I didn't realize Patrick Henry College was on outer edge of NOVA. Thought it was a rural, Southside school. Makes paltry crowd even more embarrassing for Republicans.
November 2, 2025 at 5:44 PM
A little better tonight, but compared to back in the day in same neighborhood on weekends, pitiful. Not even ten kids as the sun sets.

Trump truly is pooping on America
October 20, 2025 at 8:06 PM
But of course CNN is trying to both sides this. Recent post from them compared Trump shitting on protesters to Clinton complaining about deplorable.

Irony is dead.

Kind of like discovering there is gambling at Rick's
October 17, 2025 at 1:35 PM
Couldn't Republicans have seen this coming? She's always been a little off.
October 12, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Great example of why the U.S. is the only developed nation with a drop of foreign visitors this year. The hate is tangible.
