The “Is a River Alive” Edition is a collaboration with author Robert Macfarlane & artist Stanley Donwood. Also thanks to cartographer Harold Fisk, whose mapping of the ancient paths of the Mississippi River Alluvial Valley in the 1940s, inspired us all.
