customers also play a large part in food waste at the store. when you pull something out of the freezer or the fridge and change your mind and leave it somewhere else in the store, there’s a 99% chance it’s gonna sit there and spoil and it will have to be thrown out

next time u go into a store, look around the bakery dept… notice all the one time use plastic that is holding the cookies, the lemon bars, the brownies… the amount of plastic used is absurd. at my job, not only do we produce an obscene amount of plastic waste, but the food waste has to be insane
