Like many people in their twenties, Katsuki Bakugou was going through an existential crisis. After attending a pride event with his friends and meeting the event organizers, he spotted a flag he didn’t recognize. Curious as always, he asked one of the organizers about its meaning and learned that it represented the asexual community.

It surprised him since he hadn’t heard the term before. He had always focused so much on becoming the best hero that he hadn’t exposed himself to much else. Kaminari would often say he was neglecting his social life, and maybe he was onto something. Not that Katsuki would ever admit it to his face.

Then there was what he already understood before learning the term. After a few years of trying to comprehend and interpret his feelings, he concluded that his feelings for Eijirou were not platonic just before they graduated high school.

Eventually, he came to terms with being on the ace spectrum and realized he was in love with Eijirou but didn’t know how to handle it. He was aware that the redhead was gay, as he had come out to him in high school and had even dated a few guys in the past, though none seemed to last more than a few dates. Still, this led Katsuki to his current dilemma.

Would Eijirou feel the same? Even if he did, which he doubted, would he be comfortable with the possibility of Katsuki not being interested in sex? Would he want to pursue a relationship knowing that sex wasn’t guaranteed?
