That MIGHT create a little confusion, confusion that I have to address for Community Guidelines-related reasons, but I ran into the usual problem on this sort of site - character limits.

Yes, I plan to have flash fiction on my main account, too, but not the same kind of flash fiction.

If I write fan fiction, or continue somebody else's story, or otherwise write something that is in some way derivative, it gets posted to @fictionwriting.bsky.social.

If it's more purely original, it goes over to @fiction-writing.bsky.social. "Original" is a relative term. Anything one has ever been exposed is going to affect one, and eventually come leaking out, so nothing we create can be purely original, but some efforts clearly come closer than others.
