I am coming at you with another book recommendation. Bat Eater was an absolute masterpiece. Baker captures the suffocating dread of the pandemic with razor-sharp precision. But beyond the all-too-real horrors, the supernatural elements in Bat Eater genuinely terrified me.

Happy Sunday! I finished Bat Eater by Kylie Lee Baker last night. It’s a 5-star read for me. Combining the dread of being dropped back in 2020 at the height of the pandemic with hungry ghosts, this horror novel is haunting, beautiful, and devastating.
