14th book and 11th thriller written, assessed by excellent Fiction Feedback editor, tweaked (a lot), then copy edited. Now the long, tricky search for a literary agent (or indeed a publisher) begins...below is an old photograph from Bosnia, with a Croat gunman firing warning shots at an aid convoy.

Thank you, Jeremy, for this 5* review: 'John Fullerton delivers a virtuoso fusion of classic murder mystery and an intricately woven espionage story in How Not to Kill a Spy...From the first page, the stakes are clear: the UK’s survival as a global intelligence power hangs in the balance....'

Well, it's out. All it needs are reviews, and yes, that's a hint!

First review, from bestselling crime novelist Martin Walker: 'A compelling, eerily credible read about a secret battle to save British Intelligence from itself and its allies.'
Thanks, Martin.

Just for a laugh, I put my latest spy caper, How Not To Kill a Spy, through the AI of quantification.com. It came up with a bestseller prediction of 81 pct, a sale prediction of 500k-1 million (I kid you not) and a genre 'fit' of 92 percent...how wrong can it be!!

I've a few spare paperbacks (advance review copies) of my forthcoming thriller for any UK-based readers prepared to review it on, or just after, the release on December 5. Any takers? Amazon, Waterstones, Goodreads etc.

Crumbs! The first copies of my latest, a spy caper and murder mystery, landed hot off the press. The ebook is already available for preorders at the immense price of £1.99, but the paperback won't be on sale (at £7.99) until the official release date of December 5.

Anyone for an advance review copy of a wee spy caper and murder mystery? A line or two would do on Amazon, Goodreads, Waterstones, B&N etc. Out on December 5. Here's the somewhat whimsical cover:

Judging by the weight, I think my wise pal from Myanmar is mahogany under all the old gold leaf. He's nearly three feet high and sits in perfect calm on top of my Mongolian cupboard.
