Was working on a new song last night. Matilda wanted to sit in my lap, but she insisted on 'helping' with keyboards. After removing her from my lap, she hopped up onto my exercise bike and spent the rest of the night judging me.

I've been programming my own takes on classic retro games as a way of dealing with post-election/pre-fascist regime dread. Even a game as simple as Breakout has a lot of nuance when it comes to setting up "fun" angles. I have new respect for the dev.
