Focus on keeping your feet dry!

This plea echos over the universe. The plea is spoken of family and care at the farther corner of the coalition. Words of peace and kindness, reverberate over light years and planets. Keith sigh, but accepts it, a cost of diplomacy

Keith is happy with their shared love. But Shiro wants to share their joy with family, and believes parents for keith are out there. Knowing galra family trees, against his knowledge, Shiro convinced Keith to send out a plea, a call to family.

#sheith Keith and Shiro take to the dance floor, gently spinning with the same grace as blades crossing. The two show their perfect synchronization as black paladins, dancing and interacting with understanding of complete body. At the final note: they hold each other, tightly. Lovingly.

Shiro thinks the galra invited are dignitaries but wait for Keith to say who his galra-father is. In the meantime, Shiro falls back on voltron diplomacy and gives each galra kindness and welcoming thru every greeting and ceremony.

Keith’s big purple eyes, looking up at Shiro and asking for patience, asking what planet would make them happy, if Shiro can accept a galra at their wedding. Shiro, sweet calm Shiro, kissing Keith on each cheek, accepting his family as it may come.

Of the three, all have a justified claim. Nor can any be denied. Krolia, Ulaz, Kolivan: all three care for both Keith and Shiro. Krolia may have a particular claim, but due to galra heritage (and genetics), the other two have equal claim.

To some degree, Keith already sees him as a father figure, having supported both Keith and voltron for years. Of course, kolivan looks the part: imposing but gentle, the figure imagined as father for so many early years by kieth. Kolivan has the calm staid energy of a caretaker. Honesty of a father.

Meanwhile, kolivan has served as a leader and father to so many, including Keith when he served in the blades. Kolivan seems distant and yet gives such kindness to those he considers family. His bravery mirrors Keith .

#sheith Shiro has the closest relationship with Krolia, understands how she navigates the galra empire with accuracy and objectivism. Shiro, an explorer, understands how Krolia could never be confined the desert wild of earth, how she needed the open stars of space.

Krolia has the absolute same face as Keith, she looks exactly the same and has the same flick of the wrist when tossing knives. Might she be the galra ‘dad’ that Tex wanted for Keith?
