i'd def recommend starting small too and figuring out what kind of crochet you like best. for example i'm not good at making plushes but i am at clothes! imo it's much simpler

HAHA if you have i don't remember oops.... honestly just finding a pattern i really really wanted to make is what motivated me to push through it. it's honestly very easy once you get the hang of it! knitting for example is smth i wanna try but it's not as beginner friendly as crochet is

as someone who does it as a hobby, you should!!! it's so rewarding (if you ignore my huge pile of wips) all your money will go to yarn, be warned lmao
