I heard Techmoan had similar issues with a video recently, seemed that YouTube statistics were off for a while

Also, most side windows had to be blocked except part of the nearside side window, to prevent a blind spot for cyclists etc.
Before these rules, people were removing the back seats of Nissan Silvias and Volvo 480s to buy and run them cheaply 😅

Yeah, the car had to be able to carry a virtual block of a certain size, some cars were too short, others too low hence the different modifications.

As a temporary solution, maybe get a couple of those covers they use in workshops, they can be useful for future projects and maintenance too.

We never got this trim level or these wheels here in the Netherlands

You've made some good progress, after all the misery. Well done 👍🏻 👍🏻

It's better for the top to not let it be folded away for too long. So always close it unless you want to drive open. At least that's what I learnt in the past with my Golf cabriolet.

Is that roo bar an original accessory or home made?
November 12, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Over the years I've start to like these more than the 2CV (sorry @hubnut.bsky.social 😅)

Those wings look nice! And the new tyres too 😄
November 12, 2025 at 4:36 PM
Nice speakers, what are they?

These were real unicorns, only remember seeing one a handful of times. My parents had a more humble series 2 1100L in Kermit green 😃

November 11, 2025 at 6:45 PM
Good news, I'm sure it will turn out nice 👍🏻 😃
November 11, 2025 at 1:11 PM
Still loved the one my parents had, even if it was only a 1600 😅
November 11, 2025 at 6:38 AM

My uncle was a Daihatsu dealer back then (in NL) and as a young student without a car, I was allowed to drive new demo cars they had when I visited. Really nice revver this was 😅
