This is Bertha. She has a damaged wing but has been hanging out in our garden for the past couple of days. Today she managed to fly from one side to the other. We've become attached.

Three years on. No Salthill Cycleway, but also no Galway traffic problems for us! The bike is still going strong 9000+kms later. Lots of other families have made the switch too... all we need is to make it safer.

What a morning! And we hit 9000km on the best purchase we ever made. We'll have had it 3 years this month. @galwaycycling.bsky.social

So will people be reimbursed or what? I wish I was surprised tbh.

The young fella is starting to experiment with drawing black birds on black paper. I know I'm his mammy but I think they're so beautiful. #raven #speirgorm

Hey there, your candidate will have someone's eye out with these corners. They're tied to the pedestrian crossing posts on the Kingston/Threadneedle junction in Galway. Can they please be removed and more care taken in future?

Any Galway people on here? Access to beaches being blocked. This is for a RedBull ticketed event on Sunday. The whole prom will be blocked on Sunday Totally unacceptable. Please, please complain loudly if you agree. The Council cannot be led to believe that this is okay. 😘

We hit 6000km on our trusty BIcicapace Justlong today! We got it in January last year. Best purchase ever from the brilliant Rothar in Phibsboro

Between 1/3 and 1/4 of the width of the path on Bishop O'Donnell Road was overgrown with grass. We managed to clear about 2/3 of it for #Sundays4Safety.
It'd be great to see Galway City council do the rest. They should take some of that massive roundabout landscaping budget and make walking safer.

A little bit of guerrilla gardening for #Sundays4Safety today! Thanks to Simon, Johnny and especially Cllr Alan Curran for the idea and energy. The footpaths at the kingston and bishop o'donnell crossroad are wider this evening. Proper pics to follow 🤩🤩🤩
