“Democracy requires your courage. So gather your justice and humanity...and do not let despair overcome us, when our country needs us the most.”

An e-nobody and this could be viewed as my diary.
Oh the joy of owning a #Samsung fridge freezer that has a so badly designed ice maker that freezes up and stops producing ice several times a year.

Had enough #Kobo users? Want to join the resistance? Then just download the Calibri font from online-fonts.com/fonts/calibri and using your computer unzip the file and extract the *.ttf files to the fonts directory on your e-reader. #MAGA will hate you for using an easy to read typeface.

Attention all Kobe e-reader users. It had come to our attention that lots of ebooks come with woke / DEI fonts. We must use Times New Roman. Do not panic if you don't find it installed, simply download it and side load it to the Kobo fonts directory.

I just finished reading it too. Enjoyed it very much. One thing grated on my nerves every time I read it, I do hope Áróra now has an appropriate bumper sticker on her car.

It's Pączki month here in what was the USA, feels more like the USSR now. Pronounced "poonch-kee", they are Polish donuts that are traditionally eaten on Fat Tuesday.

My latest bit of embroidery. One of the characters drawn by my granddaughter from my birthday picture.

As it was a warmish afternoon, I thought I'd go for a bike ride and see how wind mills were getting on. Still not spinning around yet it turned out. But notice the absence of NIMBYS around. Each one of these will bring in $30k for the land owner per annum so I am told. Wish I had room in my yard.

My grandson invited me to an exhibition of his latest works of art at his little tykes academy on Saturday. Which is your favourite?

A busy day making Christmas sugar biscuits/cookies with the grandchildren. Restraint with the sprinkles was a bit lacking.

I had to use a hammer to get into the plunge pool today. Several inches of ice.
December 1, 2024 at 5:56 PM
Hmm, getting in the luxury plunge pool is going to be difficult today. It's a bit icy 🥶🥶🥶.

I used a few idle moments to put together this gorgeous embroidered axolotl themed cushion on my Bernina B 790. If anyone is interested I can make the pattern available for download 🤣

My recommendation, get some rollers for in the garage.

The water temperature is down to a chilly 6°C in my luxury plunge pool today. It sure made my heart rate go up when I jumped in.
