1st issue done and it’s creative. Keeps a number of the core characteristics of the Batman mythos while mixing it up enough to be interesting. Definitely gives you enough to come back for the second issue.

Beauty of the medium. I remember as a kid going from Larry Hama’s mind blowing GI Joe #21 to Chris Claremont’s X-Men. Soooo different, soooo amazing.

On the other hand, this comic was clearly a love letter to old school horror films, so I kind of feel like experiencing it in b&w added something special to the mix.
