As a NYC Community Education Council member I have been sounding the alarm and warnings for Dept. Of Ed. to have a contingency plan in place for Project 2025 to protect our kids and have received nothing. They are once again not prepared for the crisis that awaits our Black students.

Our District 13 Community Education Council held a town hall at one of our Bed-Stuy public school P.S. 3 with @nycschools Chancellor Melissa Aviles-Ramos. Our questions were thoughtfully delivered, and we elevated our family's concerns about Project 2025 plan to dismantle our progress.

I attended an event with the NYC Chancellor about our Public Schools and how we can improve them. There was no mention of any contingency plan for the incoming administration to implement Project 2025, which means to shatter our public schools. We are just on some nice, warm, fuzzy vibe.
