Depends on whose attention you are referring to. What counts is serious political money and effort.

They're probably showing him your charts upside down.

Trying to imagine the vituperative alignment of Democratic Party, media and business elites that would resist you.

Oh good. Looking forward to them putting a "pro" in her position. JFC.

Get your point, but Rohm's assassination was early on, I think/hope the administration is brittle: there are not that many people in the room with Trump. You know better than I do that the right will carry on, of course.

I imagine if someone took the trouble to look at his thesis, they would find interesting things.

Finally! Hope the cash rolls in, as corrupt as that is, it is the language the Democratic leadership understands.

My sense is forcing Miller out would be the most effective way to weaken the administration.

Franco was in power 36 years until his death, despite a bloody rebellion and the defeat of the axis in WWII. Try we must...
January 27, 2026 at 8:21 PM
Sounds like something that is predestined to backfire.
January 27, 2026 at 8:15 PM
Do it. But it is Miller who really has to go.
January 27, 2026 at 9:03 AM
Yes, it’s not enough. Nothing will change unless those responsible pay a price. Without accountability there is no justice.

Can't get much more "aggressive" than shooting people in cold blood.
January 24, 2026 at 8:07 PM
Well, you also have to kick all the Federalist Society judges off the federal bench, right George?

Let's hope! (With apologies to the Vietnamese people)

If you paid any attention to Davos, you might be a bit less confident that Chad isn't going to rip the spreadsheets from the committee's hands while they stand politely by and pretend not to notice.

This one I didn't like so much. Europe isn't in the mood for lectures in the NY Times right now, even well-meaning ones. And if Americans would insist on following their Constitutional procedures, we wouldn't be in this mess. It isn't weakness, and pushing that view in the US is not helpful.
January 22, 2026 at 7:41 AM
Make it retroactive?
January 22, 2026 at 7:33 AM
Thanks, that was great. Can only hope it becomes conventional wisdom.
January 21, 2026 at 9:04 PM
And we‘ll all live happily ever after…
January 20, 2026 at 10:02 PM
Loathsome grandstanding. Not to mention strategically shortsighted.

There was a bus driver on Mass. Ave back in the day who would famously stop and ask pedestrians for directions Friday nights.
January 20, 2026 at 7:49 AM
Even if he were to be institutionalized, Trump is more qualified to be President than Vance, Johnson or Grassley. It’s turtles all the way down.
January 20, 2026 at 7:47 AM
Ridiculous take. As if letting PI slide on the final drive, when it is of course most likely to occur, would not be the real "insertion".
January 18, 2026 at 8:33 AM
Let's not take this so seriously, shall we. In any case, many of us enjoy our schadenfreude. Why should we be denied?
