I have to be honest with you: In the Book of Revelation, it's Jesus and his angels of torture who end up looking evil. The atrocities they commit are monstrous.

On point 6: Jesus did not renounce earthly kingship. The last book of the New Testament, the culmination of the entire narrative arc of Christian texts, depicts Jesus as a violent and brutal conqueror to rule the Earth. That's where Christian Nationalists get their inspiration. #BookOfRevelation

[Chorus]
I want a Christmas of peace
And no holy nights
And no preaching about all my sin.
I have seen enough
Of the fury of faith to say
Let’s keep this a godless Christmas.

Stalinism? Christian Nationalism is a better term, as the Book of Revelation preaches the union of political and religious power through brutal violence. Christianity would have never become a global religion without the Roman Empire, and Colonialism.

Go your own way! Christmas is not for everyone. Despite what they say, it's not a universal holiday.
Whenever I hear all the Christmas songs about how lovely Jesus is going to save us, I want to puke.
In the Book of Revelation, Jesus announced his plans for mass torture. Jesus Saves? No thanks!

I would rather avoid people who worship the Jesus of the Book of Revelation, Chapter 9, in which Jesus and an angel of God send armies of scorpion locust monsters to torture all the non-Christians in the world for 5 months straight.

What's astonishing to me is how the mythology of Christianity includes Jesus unleashing hordes of giant scorpion locust monsters to torture people for 5 months for failing to obey Jesus... and we're supposed to think he was nice. (Chapter 9 Book of Revelation)
Bad behavior indeed.

How does your church's call for humility and love combine with the Book of Revelation, in which Jesus Christ unleashes wave after wave or the most horrendous torture and murder possible in order to obtain political power on Earth?

Let's talk about the religious root of the holiday, celebrating Jesus, who in Chapter 9 of the Book of Revelation sends armies of scorpion locust monsters to torture all the non-Christians in the world.
You want to keep that Christ?
Put that ornament on your tree.

As long as we're having Christian clubs in public schools, can we have Bible curriculum teach little kids about how Jesus and an angel of God teamed up with Abaddon to torture people for 5 months straight for failing to convert to Christianity?

Actually, Donald Trump is following the version of Christianity practiced by most American Christians, based in the violent, vindictive, cruel moral vision of the Book of Revelation. It is the nasty ideological core of most American Christianity. www.stopchristiannationalism.com/memes/the-to...

There’s something they didn’t tell you about Jesus. Chapter 9 of the Book of Revelation is the foundation of cruel Christian Nationalism.

Actually, by the end of the New Testament, Jesus was following an agenda of authoritarian violence shockingly like Donald Trump's. Donald Trump is cruel and vindictive in the same way that Jesus in the Book of Revelation is cruel and vindictive. www.stopchristiannationalism.com/memes/the-to...

There's nothing more Christian than imposing your beliefs on other people. Look at the history of Christianity, man.

It's cool you're standing up for freedom, but freedom in the USA came not through religion, but through freedom from religion.

It's better to be demonic than moronic.
