Most were healthcare and food service. YTD 97,000 federal jobs have been cut and the tech sector has had some very large layoffs in the past two quarters. Oh and unemployment nationwide is up to 4.4% nationally, now the highest level since Oct 2021. Much worse on the west coast, CA was 5.5% in Aug.
