With all the fun of the Ultimate and Absolute books, there’s still something special about an issue of The Amazing Spider-Man that really sings.
There’s a subtlety in prior Cap entries (even in Falcon & Winter Soldier) that’s unfortunately lost here. And it can sometimes feel like you’re watching scenes from different movies stitched together.
But the core ingredients are there, and I’m already looking forward to more time with Sam Wilson.
