I only know what I know and that’s not much, so I’m here to learn and try occasional wit. Software boss and ex-lawyer interested in the world and football, cycling, travel and the odd glass of wine.
Indeed, because obvs looking smug = death (without criminal liability)

Maybe just one or two to emphasis the culture of fear and loathing and pour encourager…

This is exactly why drones have turned warfare upside down. In terms of drones the side that has N+1 most likely wins.

How very left wing

Excellent article. The point where they stuffed adverts into an ad-free subscription service summed up the profiteering to a T.

All of them bar the desperate minority proclaiming “but I like bounties” in the replies (I.e roughly 8 households)

This is such facile nonsense. Leave aside the fact that your premise is the need to unite the people of Britain, which Labour has hopelessly failed to do - not least by parroting Reform policies - to equate Polanski and Farage is ridiculous. If you want middle ground promote the LibDems then.

That’s not been my experience over visiting since 2001 and going from A1 to C1 Italian. They like to try out their English on you too, always with a smile.

I’m going to assume that no cyclists were involved in the design process

OK, but who is even aware of Harry Cole and his interview other than Talk TV viewers and Tomlinson’s own fans? If you google the YouTube channel you (I!) can’t even find the interview. Perhaps better to let it die in darkness than alert millions of people to it.

It’s clear Brexit was a disaster but we have Red Lines because of what people thought even though people now don’t think that any more, so our hands are tied, sorry, we’ll just have to do the best we can and muddle through without doing any of the obviously sensible things because Red Lines 🙄

The Hague, being European, isn’t famous for having a logo that looks a lot like the UN (instead of its scales of justice)

Here we go again with someone who thinks the state is too large and interferes too much, wanting to use their position to stop people living their lives as they want to (on account of “I don’t like it” politics). Just one more confirmation of why Reform should never be let near the levers of power.

All the time tweaking, twiddling and fiddling around at the margins instead of declaring “this is our plan, this is how we will do it and this is what it will mean to you and make things better”. Policies in a vacuum. Set the trade and industry policies around what we’re good at and invest in that!

Individually, yes. But the strength of the system is in having a dozen of them, all with different biases. Judges have biases too, and there would only be one of them deciding guilt or innocence. Professionalism and independence are checks and balances, but won’t challenge opinions.
