In my view “gods plan” is just a way for humans to express the shared experience of fate. Fate to me can be explain through the theory that time and space are all happening at the same time, we just experience it linearly through our limited perception of reality.

I would say it’s the illusion of choice that gives customers a feeling of ownership over the device they bought. If that’s not your thing then choose whichever one fits your fancy
