These were people already approved to be naturalized, yet they were stopped solely because of their countries of origin. MAGA keeps saying, “If they wanted to be in this country, they should have done it the right way.” Well, they did. And the administration still blocked them. Cruelty is the point.

Also... picture 19... if you go inside and shut the door, and then somebody comes along and plugs a big charger into that plug socket, are you trapped in the toilet? 🤔 I mean, I suppose they can't claim they didn't know you were in there, what with being able to see through the door, but still...

Same! Every time I remember this I wish I could go back and give feedback - "no, this is not the direction my career went in. Which is lucky, because I would have been truly, truly terrible at it" 😅

He's 13 now, I've just about recovered. He has two smaller siblings who have, thankfully (but also maybe just a tiny bit regretfully) not made any similarly hilarious declarations 😅

When my eldest was small and similarly struggling with that sound, his father got a new watch. Except he didn't know the word for watch, just clock. "LOOK, DADDY NEW CLOCK!" was loudly, and excitedly, exclaimed to far too many people...

Why yes it is the 17th, and no I do not appear to have put anything on the calendar yet. Is it any wonder I spend my life feeling mildly befuddled? No. Fear not though, I've done it now *and* I've done December as well, which I'm sure will make all the difference to my befuddlement.

In the olden days (2009-12) I spent a long time looking at this building from the bus stop across the road 😄

I am fairly certain we did not have houses (except possibly for sports day) when I was at school. But then I cannot remember actually remember having assemblies after about year eight, so it may just be that my brain is failing me because I finished sixth form twenty years ago...

My eldest son's school have year based groups four days a week, and vertical groups based on which 'house' they're in on Wednesdays (and occasional other random points in the year). It also happens to be my old school, but I'm sure things were less complicated back in my day.

I went in to labour on my sister's birthday and she told me to keep my legs shut as she didn't want to share 😂 Luckily for her my child didn't make an appearance until the next day, so nobody has to share here. Hope you both have fab birthdays 🥳
