I do exactly what you're describing with Monitor Profile Switcher. I have 2 normal monitors on my desk and my LG CX across the room all plugged into the PC. Profile 1 is monitors on, TV off, Profile 2 is the TV on, monitors off. Switch back and forth between them by clicking icon in system tray

Managed to get one from Target. Used the phone app as it seemed less destroyed than their desktop site.
