As silly as this sounds, making them yourself or looking for sellers on Etsy might be best? If you want to avoid drop shipped stuff

This is why my turnaround time is so slow right now, but I promise I haven't forgotten about anyone and I'm honestly doing my best. I'm just in a really difficult place.

My bad financial situation and bad physical health have been very bad for my mental health as well, and it's hard for me to keep up with a lot of regular tasks like keeping my home clean and even just showering, let alone working on commissions.

I know I already whine too much on here, but things are just really hard right now. A lot of the more recent commissions I've taken have been out of very urgent financial necessity. I'm scraping by on my rent now most months, but I can't afford to eat much and that's terrible for my energy.

Obviously I would rather my art not be stolen at all, but am I insane for thinking I’d prefer for someone to do it the old fashioned way instead of feeding my work into a system that hurts artists and the environment???

She said her art had been stolen in the past (she’d found it being used for RP) and that it traumatized her. While I can sympathize (I’ve had my art stolen plenty of times, too) I told her the issue is much bigger than her, and that AI isn’t a band-aid for art theft.

Recently, I had an argument with someone and tldr:
- Someone in a server had an AI pfp
- I called it out
- The admins deleted my message and told me off for it
- When I talked to one of the admins, she said some people can’t afford commissions, and she’d rather someone use AI than steal her art.

Harmful systems depend on you not doing anything.

I’ve made people very angry talking about this, I’ve even lost friends. But you can’t just be a fence sitter and act like your individual choices have no impact.
