The self titled LP by Dusty Trails came out 25 years ago today. Smooth, supple and heartbreakingly gorgeous in ways you wouldn't expect from these former members of Breeders and Luscious Jackson. Play it late, with the lights turned low. RIP Vivian Trimble.

I was up on Mt Markham and Mt Lowe on New Year’s Day. I took this photo from Markham’s summit, looking down Eaton Canyon, one of the cooler areas on this side of the range. All of this burned last week. #EatonFire #EatonCanyon

First time seeing #Earlimart live since 2004, when I caught them at Spaceland in Silverlake (still ranks as one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot.) That show was drenched in margaritas. This one was a sober space. We’ve all changed and grown in the last 20 years.
