In that game, you can recruit an alchemist named Sophie.
Not a red-haired Sophie though.

I'm currently moving because I recently acquired an appartment, and among the things I have moved in the last days were school supplies from years ago. Some are from the 90s and 2000s. No scrapbooks, but pens, pencils, rubber gums, etc.

The web browser almost everyone used in the early 2000s because it won the browser war against Netscape. Unfortunately, the web has stalled for many years due to Internet Explorer 6, the version that came with Windows XP.

Pokémon Crystal is the first Pokémon game whose I completed the Pokédex (at 249 pokémons, with trades from Silver and Yellow, you don't need Mew nor Celebi).

I wasn't interested in those robot plushies. So I didn't got one back then.

I watched the Power Rangers when it was broadcasted on Wednesday morning in France (there are usually no class on Wednesday in primary schools in France).

The first cellphone my family got was a Nokia 6610. I used it when I was studying far from my parent's home between 2005 and 2010.

Free space ? What about racing in space ?
I played a lot the Star Wars Episode I: Racers videogame in which you take the role of one of the pilot of those vehicles, flying at very high speed on courses located on different planets.

Landstalker is the game I've got on the Sega Mega Drive that I like the most.
I've finished it without any guide, and I was blocked a few years by the crypt, as some of its enigms are rather hard to solve (doing nothing to solve an enigm is extremely unusual).

As a child, my toys mainly consisted of Legos, and a few dinosaur toys from Jurassic Park. I wasn't really into collecting toys from sets (and my parent didn't have the budget for those anyway).

Like many children in the 90s, I had several pogs, and I played it with friends. The trend lasted around two years before disappearing.

I wasn't very much online before the late 2000s, so my experience with the early social media are rather lacking. My early social media experiences were mostly instant messaging and chatrooms, notably MSN and IRC.

K-Way is a French company producing raincoat jackets that can be folded into fanny packs, so successful that its name has become a generic term in French. I have got one when I was a child, but not in those vivid colours (I think it was a navy blue one).

I didn't go to many concerts in my life, and all of them were either done in a public space so free to assist, or part of another event like conventions, or TV broadcasts. The first concert I assisted was with my parents, but I'm unsure which was the artist.

In the 90s, I often bought a magazine about dinosaurs, and this magazine came with plastics parts to make dinosaur skeletons that glow in the dark. Since I wasn't subscribed to that magazine, I wasn't able to get a full skeleton.

Released before I was born, Macadam Bumper is one of the first pinball video games to feature a table editor. As a child, I played this game a lot on the Amstrad CPC 464 of my father.

I didn't read many novels as a child, but I've read comic books. For this icon, I've chosen to represent the issue 60 of "Super Picsou Géant", one of the issues I had got of this French comics magazine centered around the Donald universe of Walt Disney.

In French, "K7" sounds like "cassette" (the French word for tape) and was commonly used as an abbreviation for VHS and mixtapes.

Computers of the 80s used audio tapes for data storage. What if the magnetophones were kept in the 90s for multimedia purpose ?
Here's four icons from an hypothetical Tapes95 application for Windows 95 allowing you to play and record audio tapes.

Winter break means Christmas for me in the northern hemisphere, so I made a small Christmas Tree icon (32×32), using the colours you were limited with when your Windows desktop could only display 16 colours.

Remember Mario 64 and the fight against King Bob-omb ?
Throwing bombs around makes me think of Bomberman, so I used a pose from the intro of Neo Bomberman here.
