They more or less sing for fun -> they’re just gonna check if you can stay on pitch and have you sing a few notes, maybe a short song

In my experience how „hard“ the audition is really depends on the general goal of the choir

They expect lots of choir experience, sight reading of music, for you to practice on your own regularly -> it’s gonna be a bit more difficult

Sometimes it does frustrate me a bit because I could do things better but I simply have to do too much work and when you have the choice to do everything at 60% with time for hobbies attached or at 100% with neither time for hobbies nor time to rest, sleep and eat the choice is quite easy
