imo, it's the overall attitude/culture of the app's community plus the hate of Meta products (more people are moving to YT Shorts bc of it's income potential vs IG). TT was the easiest to gain popularity w/out being shadow banned for content marked 'sensitive' etc- so in short... it's the algorithm~
