Yes and if season 3 was a separate show it would be one of the best portrayals of cyberpunk in television history.

So really Jurassic Park was a bunch of boy dinos that the INGEN scientist though were girls, but since they would all have cloacas regardless it’s not like they could look under their skirts and check like Ian Malcolm suggested.

Assuming dinos didn’t do egg temperature sex determination in addition to ZW sex determination, this means really all dinos are boys by default unless there’s a W chromosome that modifies their development.

Now we understand SRY is up and down regulated by a bunch of autosomal genes so is not 1/0. Probably how “life, uh, found a way”. But more so, for a movie that pushes Grant’s hypothesis of dinos = birds they should have remembered girl dinos are ZW and boy dinos ZZ.
