When Clinton was in office, he pushed a “universal healthcare” plan, but it wasn’t single payer M4A. It was “universal insurance”. essentially what the ACA was before the individual mandate was removed. That’s what Mills probably means when she says that, enhanced subsidies and Medicaid expansion.

If you think he’s Fetterman the 2nd then the only thing you know about him is his gender presentation. Gruff men CAN genuinely care about people and want to fight for equality without it being a grift. It is possible. The suspicion is because folks think masculinity can’t coexist with empathy.

I’d encourage you to read the Jacobin article about what was in the other 1800+ Reddit comments he made to get a better picture of him and his transformation over time rather than the 5 worst post they cherry-picked to spark peak outrage.

The only thing this is leaving out is that Platners platform is decidedly not rooted in white supremacist heteronormative politics - especially compared to Mills (Eg Their conflicting stances on tribal sovereignty). The racism being “overlooked” isn’t policy, it’s implied intent behind a tattoo.

Jacobin just released an article discussing their thorough review of the other 1800+ social media posts that were deleted that have not been publicized and they didn’t even find the slightest hint of Nazi ideology anywhere — only the opposite. Again. Do some basic research and stop writing fantasies

People can make their own conclusions about this. I still haven’t made mine yet. But folks are acting like this specific image is common knowledge and it isn’t, even among people who know that a skull generally is a significant symbol.
