We then add resistors and conductors onto the glass-ceramic layer to create the electrical heater circuit. Typically these are based on Ag and PdAg. This circuit is again fired (sintered) at a high temperature to ensure a high thermal stability.

Our Thick Film Heaters (TFH) are built on a durable metal base (mostly stainless steel) available in flat, cylindrical or more complex 3D shapes. A glass-ceramic dielectric layer is applied and fired at 850–950°C, ensuring robust electrical insulation.
