The recently damaged submarine cables in the Baltic Sea highlight alarming threats to Europe’s critical infrastructure & suggest targeted sabotage.

The EU must act decisively: invest more to protect infrastructure, strengthen resilience plans, & intensify crossborder cooperation.

Incredible to see how fast Poland is moving. According to the World Bank, Poland had a GNI per capita based on PPP of around $42,000 in 2022, compared to around $55,000 in the UK - with the gap potentially closing by 2035.
