my uncle, Staff Sergeant Charles B. Ferrell, a gunner on a WWII bomber with the U.S. Army Air Corps’ 452nd Bomber Group, who was shot down over Germany and captured by the Germans, surviving captivity in a German P.O.W. camp;

Petroglyphs are plentiful in Utah and Arizona. I photographed these bighorn sheep petroglyphs at the Suns Eye Arch in Monument Valley in 2023.

These are pictures of my Uncle, James Frank "Pete" Rogers, who was a Captain in the Texas Rangers for many years. Uncle Pete was an expert horseman and an experienced pilot. He could track a suspect on foot, on horseback, in a vehicle, or in a plane. I miss Uncle Pete.

On my recent trip to New York I got to see the historic nightclub Cafe Wha? in Greenwich Village. According to his autobiography, this is the first club where Bob Dylan played music when he arrived in New York City in 1961. #BobDylan Bob Dylan’s Bluesky
