Given that the EU isn't governed by people with an IQ of 70, unlike the current US administration, hopefully they can continue maximizing retaliation focused as much as is possible on exports originating from red states.

The guy with the red tie appears to have a full diaper in need of changing.

Republicans have never once paid a price for a government shutdown. They've remained the party of fiscal responsibility in the eyes of most voters.

The fact is, we're already a month and a half into a government shutdown. Democrats need to hold the line to re-open the government.

💯

Senate Democrats prepared to block House GOP spending bill, Schumer says.

Suck it Fetterman.
March 12, 2025 at 8:50 PM
One of those things is true. Trump removed U.S. pandemic health monitors from China in 2018. 10M USD was expensive and who is really worried about a global pandemic?

And the other is partially true. Had Trump been president, we would have been arming the Russians...
March 12, 2025 at 8:50 PM
This is why the Republicans win time and time again. They're always willing to shoot the hostage.

Trump is already shutting down the government. This time, the hostage is already dead.

Will Democrats choose to fight?

If past is prologue, sadly, they'll roll over with you, and we're all fucked.
March 12, 2025 at 6:46 PM
I want to hold my breath and say that Democrats will finally hold the line.

But...then I remember just last week that 10 Democrats voted to censure Al Green. 🤷‍♂️

I thought it was okay to treat treason as a really bad thing.

I guess you need to be polite to the people committing it?
March 11, 2025 at 3:34 PM
What are you talking about? It's eye opening that the Republicans are frauds and liars?

In other news, water is wet and the sun is hot.

Al Green met the moment. It's a shame Democratic leadership continues to act like tearing down the United States of America is normal and we should remain polite.
March 7, 2025 at 3:32 PM
At least they made it easy to figure out where liberals need to put their efforts in the primaries to root out the Democrats most willing to sell us out.
March 7, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Al Green was the only one who had the courage to stand up for what's right. Was very disappointed he was the only one willing to do so.

If Democratic leadership wants to cuck for Trump, it's time for them to go.
March 7, 2025 at 3:25 PM
If only more Democrats could find their spine.

And the Democrats who voted for your censure...at least they made it easy to compile a list of who needs to be primaried. 🤷‍♂️
March 7, 2025 at 8:00 AM
To be fair, they never claimed they were the Department of Government Competency. 🤷‍♂️
March 6, 2025 at 4:56 PM
I will parlay that bet and wager it's Republican on Republican.

I'll also go for the trifecta and bet the argument is over who is cucking for Trump the best.
March 5, 2025 at 6:42 PM
When that happened, I was holding my breath to see who would be next and whether or not they could pull off a plan to disrupt Trump's bullshit long enough for him to walk away or people to turn off the TV.

It was really sad to see only one Democrat demonstrated courage last night. 🙁

On the plus side, if SCOTUS rules in the government's favor, might be a good time to submit some RFPs.

Structure the bid for some of the cash up front as expense, don't deliver anything, unilaterally cancel the contract for convenience, cite new supreme court precedence as legal justification. 🤣
March 5, 2025 at 6:33 PM
You met the moment, sir.

I kept watching President Krasnov's speech, hoping that others would have the courage to stand up as you did.

While that didn't happen; you inspired the American people who still believe in the rule of law and democracy.

Thank you! 🙏

I imagine that even many of the intelligent Romans who were expecting to celebrate 500 years as a Republic in their lifetimes had the same feeling.
March 5, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Embarrassing. Disgraceful. Shameful. Pathetic. Nearly any negative adjective would be an appropriate description for today.
February 28, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Nah, it was simpler than that. Trump is a sideshow. Everything he says and does is outrageous, ridiculous, offensive and people can't look away. Ratings = money.

Reminds me of Howard Stern. Haters listened to his show for twice as long as listeners who liked him.
February 28, 2025 at 1:46 AM
You want to give them Texas?

I mean, that's probably the best Texas secession plan I've heard to date. 🤔
February 27, 2025 at 6:05 AM
It's not an intelligence issue. Unless you've had first-hand experience with the personality type, it can be hard to believe there is no deeper intent.

Predicting the actions of this personality type is deceptively simple; once you realize they're not playing chess, they're playing tic-tac-toe.
February 20, 2025 at 7:46 AM
Let me know how the market reacts to the next jobs report which is going to show recession level numbers thanks to Trump's illegal cuts to the federal workforce.

The question is how long it is going to take him to trigger a depression.

I think he can do it by Q2.
February 19, 2025 at 8:04 AM
Also, don't forget, Trump only won a plurality of voters; not a majority.
February 18, 2025 at 3:35 PM
Perhaps you don't understand how propaganda and disinformation work, as you don't seem to understand that is what damaged the Democratic brand.

Hitler was elected and wasn't able to fully seize power until most of the country bought into his bullshit.
