Oh huge props for Komatsu, he's doing really good things at Haas. The way he changed the team from Steiner's circus is something awesome to see.

But... is it working?
No one is buying the whole "we look each other in the eye" thing AND they confirmed the rumour about a conflict between Charles and Adami all in one day.
I'd say this was a very, very bad day for Ferrari PR.

Norris will really say anything just to avoid saying McLaren has been overall the best car of the season by a mile.
November 28, 2024 at 10:13 PM
Because without any real consequences this is just talk, he can listen for 5 minutes and do whatever he wants later.
November 26, 2024 at 9:58 AM
Someone seems to be wrong - Charles wasn't told to let Sainz by, he was the one who came up with it once he realized how bad his mediums were doing on that first stint.
Charles was in full fight for WCC mode. Unfortunately it doesn't work both ways, it seems.
November 25, 2024 at 10:53 PM
I don't think that's why Charles snapped on the radio. More like four years of this. Four years of listening to Sainz talking about what a great teammate he is to the media and then refusing to do something as simple as defend on Hamilton for one lap. He's tired of the lying.

Yes please? 🥺
November 25, 2024 at 7:32 PM
It's just a far-fetched thought that I had, in the tinfoil hat territory, but the difference in the messages is there. Why not make the message clear, why not say openly "hold positions" or "don't overtake"?
I don't remember anyone saying anything about Adami and Charles tbh. Maybe someone else?
November 25, 2024 at 7:32 PM
Just something that has been bugging me since yesterday morning.
It's not like I don't think Sainz knew what he was supposed to do, but maybe it was just enough to give him that inch he needed.
But that would mean Adami is actively participating in this...
November 25, 2024 at 7:07 PM
Ofc he was. Let's be honest that snap would be absolutely valid if it happened two years ago as well.
I know Ferrari let Sainz go, but oh god it frustrates me to no end that they are taking a high road and there will be no consequences, even no comments.
November 25, 2024 at 7:00 PM
That would be an absolutely huge thing to lie about, worthy of this snap. But then we're talking about Sainz... Would you believe him when he says that? Because I wouldn't and Charles knows him much better.
November 25, 2024 at 6:54 PM
👀
I don't know how to tell you that but... same?
November 25, 2024 at 6:52 PM
To be in the middle of negotiations both sides have to be in it. If Ferrari gave him that offer and said it's their best and final...
November 25, 2024 at 1:54 PM
This is an interesting point you made - it's all Sainz should drive for himself, but the moment Charles says 'okay, I'll do that too' it's suddenly wrong?
And I keep my opinion on this clear - it's not about ignoring the team orders per se, it's about Sainz saying he'll do it and then not doing it.
November 25, 2024 at 1:22 PM
Leaving out the whole fired thing, can we even say that it was Ferrari who let him go?
They offered him a contract to which he said no, so they went in a different direction.
If my employer offers me a contract extension and I say no, did they fire me or did I leave on my own?
November 25, 2024 at 1:15 PM
I can see him disagreeing and saying outright he won't do something, but that leaves them on a level playing field. That they can plan and work around.
People miss the context of how many times Sainz agreed to a strategy and did something completely opposite. And that is the problem here.
November 25, 2024 at 9:01 AM
People fail to see this isn't about who finished ahead or who let whom by. This is about one thing being planned, agreed on before the race that is forgotten and abandoned as soon as the race starts.
I don't see Lewis agreeing to do thing A and then doing the complete opposite on track.
November 25, 2024 at 8:58 AM
Oh, I agree completely, it was a long time coming. But at the same time I do think something big had to happen this weekend for Charles to snap instead of just surviving until AD.
I wouldn't be surprised if Sainz promised something big and then on track did the complete opposite.
November 25, 2024 at 12:24 AM
It had to be something big enough for Charles to stir this shit with only two weeks to go. So pretty damn big.
November 25, 2024 at 12:18 AM
You're here!!! Welcome!!!
(is this a bad time to mention I got one foot into motogp ofc against my will)
November 24, 2024 at 11:49 PM
That already happened after Brazil, Stella came out and said something exactly like that.
November 21, 2024 at 10:49 PM
And here I had hoped... I need to know this is real and I can get it in March 🙈
November 21, 2024 at 10:47 PM
What? How? I thought this was only an unconfirmed leak?
