You are correct. Oregon was the first to enact the law and there have been 0 cases of abuse reported. Now we need to add an amendment allowing for those who are hereditarily at risk to die of Alzheimer's use an advance directive for their own death with dignity.

I suspect these "nominations" are red herrings to suck oxygen out of the news cycle while T & E are doing far more nefarious shit. It's a classic misdirect. And the media falls for it every time.
