Our family tradition is the first weekend in December, we get together and trim the tree and make cookies. It's not often that it all comes together perfectly, but this is one of those years that it did. I'm so grateful for my family.🎄❤️🧑‍🧑‍🧒

I really like this pic of me from my last birthday. The dress, the shawl, the way my glasses slide down my nose, the way my hair is turning white... I look at this pic and it just screams out "Wow, what an old lady."

And that just makes me feel so warm inside. I got to be a lady. I got to be old.
