How do they censor those opinions?

Here's what this bill actually does: It gives the Treasury Department unlimited power to label ANY nonprofit a "terrorist supporting organization" and strip their tax-exempt status.

But could someone as incompetent as Trump and his potential future cabinet actually lead us to Authoritarianism?
"People say that the saving grace of these appointments is that these people [...] are inexperienced, they're ridiculous, they're incompetent. They won't get anything done."

The authoritarian and his clan strike a deal with the public: "You're going to have enough money to retreat into your private life." Politics disappears. That's unlike the Totalitarian who "wants people in the private square. [...] [E]verything becomes political and private life disappears."

There seems to be a growing tendency to think of politics as something toxic. People disconnect and distance themselves to escape (ignore) the feeling of powerlessness. Sound familiar?

Probably there is this idea that to end Democracy, the leader would need to cross a clear line, replace institutions, and abolish elections. But that's not how modern Democracies end. Instead, Authoritarianism creeps in while upholding the veneer of Democracy.
