That whole bill was an ‘MTG stunt’, which implies that the bill was rather ineffective anyways, which AOC herself has said. If AOC genuinely saw a feasible opportunity to cut weapons off to Israel, she absolutely would in a heartbeat.

It absolutely can be if you choose for it to be, but AOC doesn’t do that. She actually cares. She has integrity. She’s been at it for years, and she has a bulletproof track record.

“1 half assed MTG stunt” that AOC has already said that wouldn’t have actually helped shit. That does look and sound bad on a headline but if you actually look into the minutia of all of it, it starts to make sense. AOC is a very very integritous congress member. Rather undefeated, tbh.

Okay that’s Dianne Feinstein. Not every congressional member just lacks integrity. A lot do, but there’s a growing number of people who don’t. And let’s not forget that AOC was a founding member of this movement in congress

I think the day to day of what she does can definitely be very difficult. There are definitely a lot of hardships to being in congress! It’s definitely not nearly as much of a cakewalk as people want to make it seem. But everything else you said I think makes sense.

I don’t think that politicians are my personal friends but they display such intense public vulnerability on a daily basis so people like you can go around and downplay all her work as a politician. And the original commenter acted like what AOC got was just light work when it wasn’t. It wasn’t IMO.
