Leyendo a Millás y Arsuaga, me encuentro que las ideas de sistemas complejos han llegado hasta la arqueología y la literatura. Eso sí, la definición de Arsuaga se deja fuera aspectos como la heterogeneidad de las interacciones, la existencia de parámetros irrelevantes en comportamientos macro, etc

Sé que esto es como decir misa al que ya cree, pero esta frase me ha hecho pensar de nuevo en el sistema actual de publicación. Veo todo el rato evaluaciones sobre el "impacto", "timeliness", etc, de proyectos y papers, pero no tantas veces la pregunta de "qué pruebas hay de que X sea cierto"...

I just went to hear Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer, but I definitely wan't expectong liking so much Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living. Totally blew me away—might be my favorite requiem now.
