Oh yeah, I meant another female group. Didn't think to specify that.

By the point in the UC timeline where all 3 of them are dead I consider them a newtype ghost polycule.

It's not the show's fault that people who saw the movie spoiled this moment for me weeks ago but this fight was a lot less cool than I'd been anticipating from its very concept. You had Char and Sayla fighting at the end of the one year war and it's over in three strikes?!

If you like mecha then you should give Gundam a try, and WFM's a very beginner-friendly Gundam.

As much as I'd love a 2nd (Sorta 3rd) Gundam yuri I can't even really ship nyanchu right because Nyaan's currently such a non-entity. Sulemio at least had a solid dynamic established before Miorine was struggling for screentime in season 1.

I'll trust the process but they'd better speed it up.

I mean we saw Kycilia in episode 2.

Many Gundam shows are completely self-contained entries much like the Final Fantasy games, but GQuuuuuuX is a unique scenario where it's an alternate timeline of the original 1979 show. The main cast are almost completely new but legacy characters are up to stuff in the background.

And while I don't want to lean too hard into "That's just how this franchise is", I'm very used to dead love-interests coming back as psychic ghosts to help the hero and the space princesses not doing much in the finale, so Miorine leading the ground mission at all made me happy enough.

I can't say his role at the end DOESN'T feel a bit like "Don't worry guys, she still likes boys" but I'd say the actual final moment of triumph was between her and Eri.

I remember when Sulemio stocks were at an all-time low during the Elan 4 arc where Miorine was similarly struggling for screentime, so I will continue to have faith. Shuji is still of a Gundam character archetype whose survival chances are historically slim.

Looks more like Lieutenant Quattro Bajeena to me.

It says the interview is from 1979, so that would be before the franchise was even saved.

I think the presence of good Silco implies that there were more changes to the timeline than just Vi dying.

It's also worth considering that Heimerdinger would have become inhabited by his Zaun-sympathizing self 3 years ago while still head of the council. He could have gotten a lot done.

DAMN IT ARCANE, I NEVER THOUGHT YOU'D MAKE ME ENTER SCRIPT DOCTOR MODE!

I think the easiest change they could have made would have been rewriting her Act 2 dynamic to be subtlety gassing up Ambessa's influence on Caitlyn, so that the viewer's impression is she gradually became a loyalist to Noxus instead of having contradictory attitudes about them in Acts 2 and 3.

The theory that she was a Black Rose spy hence her trying to convince Cait away from Ambessa's suggestions probably would have been a more satisfying reveal than whatever she was supposed to have been in the last episode.
November 24, 2024 at 7:10 PM
Since one of the co-creators confirmed that the final scene was cut down from what they originally planned, I'm just imagining there exists 5 minutes worth of script or storyboards where Caitlyn kept pulling increasingly kinky toys out out nowhere.

I wasn't very familiar with gaming culture on the internet before Smash 4 came out but it felt like the game was really popular as the current version of Smash after the (at the time) controversial Brawl, before Ultimate basically made it obsolete.
