The opportunity cost in terms of cap space and roster spot that could otherwise go to a young Dman is much more significant than Vaaks and a 4th.

CBJ has a pretty weak goalie pipeline, I wonder if a package of Clara (or Clang) + Siderov could get the deal done, maybe with a pick as well. I have a hard time imagining CBJ actually getting the “similar caliber” prospect they’re asking for, but those two are good in areas their system needs.
