Actions at a Glance FERC approves construction of major LNG export terminal in Cameron County, Texas Photo of Brownsville Port with ships docked FERC seal Expanding LNG Infrastructure FERC has approved the construction of the Texas LNG Brownsville export terminal on a 625-acre site. It will have access to natural gas from the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford areas. The facility will produce 4 million metric tons of LNG every year for export, and the proposed project will be consistent with other industrial facilities along the shoreline. Actions at a Glance Photo of Brownsville Port Concept Art of Texas LNG Brownsville Facality Expanding in Phases The project will be built in two phases. Each phase will process about 0.309 Billion cubic feet(BCF) per Day of natural gas and include one liquefaction train and a storage tank. Peak Liquefaction Capacity: Up to 204.4 BCF per year of natural gas Storage Tank Capacity: Approximately 210,000 cubic meters of LNG Liquefaction Train Capacity: 2.0 MTPA of LNG Actions at a Glance Expanding Engagement 900+ Comments Submitted Comments on the environmental review were submitted by diverse voices including federal and state agencies, organizations, companies, tribes, and individuals. Comprehensive Environmental Review Key U.S. agencies involved in review included Department of Energy, Army Corps of Engineers, Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Aviation Administration, Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, and National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration.

Actions at a Glance FERC Facilitates Energy Infrastructure Projects Actions at a Glance Authorized a transaction that permitted investment in a 710 MW coal-fired generating facility in West Virginia. Authorized National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation to construct and operate its Tioga Pathway Project in Pennsylvania to provide 190,000 Dth/day of new firm transportation service. Accepted proposals by five electric utilities to implement more efficient processes to accelerate the interconnection of new generation resources to the grid. Authorized transactions permitting acquisition of interests in approximately 1,900 MW of generating resources in various markets.
