Character Style Re-design — Neth • haven’t been happy with the general style of characters, so took a step back. Her core elements are solid, but needed a bigger head and normal-ish feet perhaps.

A character design sheet of the main character of my personal project, Age of Etra, Neth. A former mecha pilot, wearing a white plug suit, yellow rain-boots, missing her left forearm, hand and her right eye. She wears a bandage protecting where her eye once was. The re-doesn’t is focused on style more than the character this round. Her proportions are more balanced, but still fun and cartooning (big head, big hands). The sheet includes a couple facial expressions, and sketches of Neth through out her life, with differnt outfits and haircuts.

I’m a visual designer by trade, so I’ve been focusing on creating design systems (along with story scenario + game design) before I dove into Gadot.

Here’s a look into the rough idea for UI in Age of Etra! It’s a low fantasy, sci-fi RPG.

A UI mock up of the “STATUS” tab of the potential main menu for my project, Age of Etra. It’s has a simple sci-fi/frosted glass aesthetic that will overlap the world the characters are currently in. This screen shows the three characters, their levels, objective, game time & currency total. Along with potential tabs for other menus. UI mock for the “ABILITIES” tab for my project, Age of Etra. Focusing on the mecha character, 001137. When focusing on one character the UI matches their hero color (in this case, yellow). The screen shows the characters profile image and his class, MYSTIC, ability list. It’s a mock so content is a WIP. Small exploration of simple dialog boxes, this one is special as it’ll be a core character interaction and will be treated in a different manner but gets the point across. UI dialog mock for my project, Age of Etra. UI mock for “LOGS” tab. As you progress through the story, you’ll discover logs that will give you better insight on what’s happening to the mysterious Observatory you have found yourself on and the being known as “Etra”. Bonus set, just because. I took a million photos in total and got sunburned. Lots of fun.
The winners podium at Moto American. First, second and third place winners for the “Super Hooligan” race and celebrating their placements. A detail shot of one of the many Honda Ruckus bikes that got workers of the events back and forth across the track. It’s cute. The warm up lap for one of the motorcycle races, with all the riders coming down an S curve together as a group. A shot of the Jarritos moped parked in a designated area, it really stands out compared to other ones. If you look close it even has a little Jarritos soda bottle keychain.

Went to Moto America at the Ridge yesterday and took some cool motorcycle pics 🌼✨
Two super bike (1000cc+) racers taking a tight corner at Moto America. The track is so hot you can see the heatwaves distort the background behind the riders. A Royal Enfield motorcycle tricked out in bright, pastel colors being worked on in the maintenance tents. It has a small bouquet of wild daisies behind the windshield. A rider (number 25, Royal Enfield race) giving a kick and wave to the crowd on the victory lap of the race, where riders take one more round to thank the audiences and enjoy completion of their race. A lone racer coming out of a downhill corner on the track, framed by Aprilla boundaries and wild daisies.

Starting her modeling career

Enjoyed the smaller things yesterday like rhododendron and blossoming bonsai
