In an odd twist of fate, turns out it wasn’t an appendix at all, but three separate infections wearing a shabby overcoat and pretending to be one to gain admission. Still, once they’re marched off in disgrace, normal service should resume shortly.

Appendix has decided to stage an uprising and I’m flat on my back trying to negotiate peace. It hasn’t burst, but it’s certainly taking votes on the matter. I eye the hospital ceiling and wait to see who wins: me or rogue biology. Hoping to be upright again soon so normal service can resume.
