NYT piece calls these MAGA types "provocateurs." It describes "dueling versions of reality." Both are common MSM tropes.
But these are not provocateurs. They're propagandists. Only one side is employing deliberate deceptions on a vast scale for instrumental ends. 3/

He’s not a great deal maker. He thinks arriving at the deal is all it’s about, even if he gives it away.

You need a message that makes people who work for a living that you relate to their daily challenges and they’re your top priority. Not identities, not technologies, not virtue signaling. Those are just policies.
