On the Cliffs of Dover twenty years ago for #FlashbackFriday. I'm wearing two vintage necklaces. (It would be another seven years before I decided to sell the jewellery I recycled/created!) Also there's some visible mending--I had old silk patterned with butterflies that I patched on everything! 😹🦋

A collection of our vintage inspired necklaces. I got started repairing and upcycling vintage pieces-basically rescuing them from landfill. Then I used these elements to create original designs. You don’t have to wear them all at once, but all is possible. 🖤

I'm inspired by seaweed shapes and colours in my designs--I love Anna Atkins cyanotypes. She was the first person to illustrate a book with photographs. These are her cyanotypes of seaweeds. www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/ann... #Instpiration #Seaweed #NaturePhotography
