No need to be sorry. So many people don't think of it like that, and it's okay. But when talking about Cullen's trauma and attitudes about things, it's something that can't be forgotten. It definitely makes what he says and does a little more... understandable. You don't just get over SA...

Let's not forget that it were desire demons. It's likely, and probable from context, that there was SA as well.

B... Yeah, I know that some think that it's kind of anti-climactic, and they aren't entirely wrong. But Holy Hell... The DA2 battle with Corypheus was an effed up, master class in how to over complicate a boss battle. Too many things going on and too many ways things can get screwed up.

We probably do. From a social standpoint, it's a narrative of women chasing the exciting. Personally, give me the boring one that's home and cleans the cat box for me. I have one of those. He's wonderful. That may be why I'm kind of simping for Lukas. LOL

From my point of view, and YMMV, he married her in good faith. She changed the rules, and what was he supposed to do? Was he really flat, or was he just not as "exciting" as the forbidden fruit?

You mentioned one of the parts that really bothered me. What she does to her husband. She seems so selfish to me and it just turned me off. I didn't like either of the leading characters. They were just so self centered.

It's the most logical and lore based explanation at present. Until BioWare gives us their version, it should be canon.
